Bar Battu is the City of London’s first natural wine bar and devotes its menu to natural, organically produced wines and bistro styled food served within a stylish interior designed to provide a more intimate and individual venue in contrast to the many noisier and larger scaled bar and restaurant operations in the City.

The interior was created by stripping the many layers of previous fit-outs back to the original steel structure and brick walls to form a sequence of drinking and dining areas either side of a new central bar and staircase. Many of the furnishings were sourced from the Parisian flea markets of Clignancourt, which give the interior an entertaining but familiar character that is nicely set against the robust natural finishes.
