The project comprised the construction of a large 3 bedroom luxury apartment, formed by the amalgamation of 3 existing flats on the top floor of the old telephone exchange building in Marylebone, central London.

The apartment was laid out to form the London home for the client’s family but was also specifically designed to provide gallery style spaces for the client’s collection of Chinese and oriental art. The layout was therefore devised to form a long sequence of spaces, some small and some large, that were all designed to exhibit particular pieces to their best effect and to provide a suitable venue for entertaining while maintaining the privacy of the family accommodation elsewhere in the apartment.
