The Stables building forms part of the Manor Farm Complex, located in South Ruislip in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The council’s brief required a building with a multi use capacity. This included a hall to be used as a meeting or specific event facility, ancillary toilet accommodation, and a kitchen to provide general catering facilities for both the stables and the Manor Farm complex.

As a grade II listed building, Mackenzie Wheeler Architects used their extensive listed building experience to sensitively refurbish and restore this community hall for the continued enjoyment of future generations.
